Started at Nexus: 2017
I rejoined Nexus Community Partners in August 2017 as the Program Manager of the Community Engagement Institute (CEI), an initiative designed to advance and strengthen communities through equity-based community engagement both locally and nationally.
I bring with me nearly a decade of experience in nonprofit program development and social justice leadership development. From 2013-2015 I worked with Terri Thao here at Nexus to implement the Boards and Commissions Leadership Institute (BCLI), and left Nexus to co-facilitate the Neighborhood Leadership Program at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, a cohort-based program designed to support social change leaders in Saint Paul. I’m so excited to re-join the Nexus team to help advance systems change to be more equity- and engagement-centered, as well as to strengthen and support networks of practitioners doing community engagement here and across the U.S. When not at work, I love playing volleyball and painting portraits, or decompressing with a good Disney movie or working out with my husband.
