Sam Ndely
About
Sam Ndely joined the Minneapolis Foundation as a philanthropic advisor in 2022 and now serves on the Impact Team as the Program Officer for Impact & Collective Giving. Previously, he worked at the Center for Economic Inclusion and Meda, where he supported entrepreneurs of color in growing their businesses. A Minneapolis native, Sam is also a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota.
Outside of work, Sam is the board chair of the Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce and the lead facilitator for the Elevate Hennepin CEO Start Program in Brooklyn Park. His leadership roles include serving on the community advisory council for First Independence Bank and contributing to the Minnesota Business Coalition on Racial Equity, Forge North, and the Zeta Nu Sigma Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Sam was part of the 2023 Minnesota Young American Leaders Program cohort through the Itasca Project and is a recent 2024 Connecting Leaders Fellow with the Association of Black Foundation Executives (ABFE). He lives in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, with his wife, Cierra, and their dog, Marley. Sam is a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.
