Heal the Healers
At Nexus, we believe all people deserve joyful and abundant lives filled with the rest that our bodies, minds, and spirits need.
For generations, community healers have supported us through times of joy and times of grief by holding and teaching rest practices. And at ROOT, we are committed to supporting them.
After listening to and engaging healers in our community, ROOT is creating spaces for healers to come together for new rest practices to emerge. The healer convenings are opportunities to learn, grow, and, most importantly, rest.
Becoming a healer is a profound journey that begins with a calling.
This journey is marked by a commitment to lifelong learning, self-improvement, and service to others. Rest is crucial along the way. Constantly providing care can be emotionally and physically draining. These sacred pauses lets healers maintain their energy, support their mental health, and foster creativity.
