Our Strategy

The Shared Ownership Center @ Nexus is a bold effort to change the face of ownership by promoting shared-ownership business models, such as worker cooperative and real estate investment cooperatives.

Our work builds community wealth, grows the region’s economy and encourages equitable economic opportunities. It advances worker ownership by seizing opportunities presented by the wave of retiring business owners in Minnesota and supports community ownership of resources by placing real estate in the hands of those that live and work there.
