2013 BCLI Launch Event
The BCLI Commitment
- Fellowship runs April through October
- Attend monthly Saturday Sessions, plus our launch event, Thursday Night Issue Series, and graduation (dates below)
- Work outside of sessions includes readings, online discussions, webinars, and commission meetings
- Total time commitment (including trainings and assignments) is approximately 80 hours
- Fellows receive a small stipend of $500 to honor this time and commitment

- Orientation: Thursday, March 19, 5 – 8 pm
- Launch & Welcome Dinner: Friday, April 17, 6 – 8 pm
- Saturday Session 1, Racial Equity Lens: Saturday, April 18, 9 am – 5 pm
- Saturday Session 2, Economic Development & Land Use: Saturday, May 16, 9 am – 5 pm
- Saturday Session 3, Workforce Development: Saturday, June 13, 9 am – 5 pm
- Saturday Session 4, Housing Equity: Saturday, July 18, 9 am – 5 pm
- Thursday Night Issue Series 1: Thursday, Aug. 6, 6 – 8 pm
- Saturday Session 5, Transit Equity: Saturday, Aug. 15, 9 am – 5 pm
- Thursday Night Issue Series 2: Thursday, Sept. 10, 6 – 8 pm
- Saturday Session 6, Health Equity: Saturday, Sept. 19, 9 am – 5 pm
- Graduation: Thursday, Oct. 1, 5:30 – 7 pm
Half the sessions will be in person, and half will be virtual.
